With a mission of providing an excellent arts education, Normandale's goal is to provide a 'creative experience' for its students and remove the objection that art is only for artists. The Fine Arts area has attracted over 2000 students this school year, placing it in the college's top ten academic areas for enrollment. As a result of growing student demand, Normandale will introduce a new Associate's degree with an Art History emphasis beginning Fall 2011.
