Why join Team STEM? As math and science play pivotal roles in society, STEM courses are one of the most relevant areas of academics in terms of developing students for their productive futures. Every student pursuing a degree at Normandale must take one or more courses in the STEM discipline.
Team STEM represents the largest student enrollment at Normandale - those majoring in the disciplines of science, technology, engineering and mathematics. Normandale is proud to have 11 students accepted into the Minnesota's Future Doctors Program over the past 3 years. This is a highly competitive program with our students vying against those from Harvard, Cornell and Stanford. The director of the program, Dr. Jo Peterson, states that Normandale students "lead the pack" and that she wishes all of the Future Doctors were even half as prepared and supported as Normandale students.
